The An-24 aircraft went off the runway
The An-24 aircraft went off the runway in the Irkutsk region, Russia. The landing gear could not withstand. It is noted that this aircraft is over half a century old. This was reported by Glavkom citing the East Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office.
The emergency situation occurred on May 26 at 14:33 local time. The An-24, belonging to the airline 'Angara', took off from Irkutsk and covered a distance of 650 km.

Other aviation incidents
Earlier, a Mi-8 helicopter crashed near Narishkino in the Oryol region. Preliminary reports indicate that the crew of the aircraft died as a result of the crash.
It should be noted that a Mi-28 helicopter fell in the Leningrad region. The incident occurred in the Volosovsky district. Also, in the Primorsky region of the Russian Federation, during a training flight, a Su-25 attack aircraft crashed.
Aviation safety is one of the key areas that requires constant monitoring and improvement of safety systems to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
