Woman Faces Up to 7.5 Years in Prison After Attacking Children for Speaking Ukrainian in Poland.

According to Espreso.tv: A troubling incident unfolded on the evening of July 18 in the city of Legnica. A 26-year-old woman struck two young girls and a boy who stepped in to defend them. The assault was triggered by the children speaking Ukrainian to one another. As a result, one of the daughters and the other children sustained injuries.

The suspect was taken into custody and now faces charges related to causing bodily harm lasting no longer than seven days. According to authorities, she could be sentenced to up to seven years and six months in prison. She has also been placed under police supervision and ordered to stay away from the victims.

Police Chief Jagoda Eckert of the Legnica District Police Headquarters disclosed details of the case on July 22. Law enforcement continues to investigate and is closely monitoring the situation.
