Across Ukraine, temperatures are expected to range from +30°C to +36°C, with some areas hitting +35°C to +37°C. The western regions will be the first to feel the intense heat. According to Natalka Didenko,

“The heat will cover almost all of Europe, including Ukraine.”
She further noted,
“Ukraine will see its hottest weather on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.”

Health and Environmental Concerns

On June 22, authorities reported a new wave of abnormal heat across Europe, raising alarm among the public. The rising temperatures pose risks to human health and the environment. Forecasters are urging caution during these hot days and advising people to follow heat protection guidelines.

This extreme heat event in Europe is part of broader global climate shifts, signaling a potential increase in the frequency of severe weather. For Ukraine, the expected heatwave could worsen water supply issues, especially in regions already struggling with water access. Close attention from both government bodies and the public is needed to mitigate potential negative impacts.
