The Government of Ukraine will receive financial assistance from Japan in the amount of 8.8 billion Japanese yen, which is approximately 58 million dollars. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
The funds will be provided by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to finance reconstruction projects.
Shmyhal expressed gratitude to the Japanese partners for their constant and unwavering support. He also noted that the Ukrainian government is actively cooperating with partners from around the world to attract additional resources for the country's recovery.
