In a chrome mine in the city of Bulqizë, Albania, an international team of scientists has discovered a unique natural hydrogen source. Experts estimate that over 200 tons of this gas are produced here annually.

What is Special About the New Source

This source has already been described as the largest of all documented natural hydrogen sources in the world. Scientists have received clear evidence for the first time that hydrogen can be stored in sufficient quantities for industrial use in the deep fractures of the Earth's crust.
