Pistorius named the delivery times of new Patriots for Ukraine.
The German Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius announced that together with the USA, they will transfer five Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine.
The new Patriot systems are to be delivered to the battlefield in Ukraine as soon as possible. The details of the delivery will be discussed in the coming days based on mutual trust. Furthermore, Germany plans to provide additional ammunition to strengthen the defense.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called on partners to continue looking for new ways to assist the country, while the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov pointed to the critical needs of the country at this time during 'Ramstein'.
As a result of the German-American agreement, Ukraine will receive five Patriot air defense systems, which is an important step in strengthening the country's defense capabilities in the face of the current heightened situation.
