Army of Restoration: 92 Thousand Ukrainians Have Found Employment Since the Beginning of the Year.
According to inkorr.com: This year, 92 thousand internally displaced persons and temporarily unemployed individuals have received referrals as part of the 'Army of Restoration' project. Since the program began, 308 thousand referrals for socially beneficial work have been provided, informs the State Employment Service.
Since the launch of the 'Army of Restoration' program in 2022, 308 thousand referrals have been issued, financed with a total amount of 2.7 billion hryvnias. Since the beginning of the year, 92 thousand such referrals have been issued, under which 870 million hryvnias have been paid to workers.
The 'Army of Restoration' project offers unemployed Ukrainians the opportunity to engage in temporary work while career advisors search for permanent employment opportunities for them. Currently, most regions are expanding the list of tasks within the program, and Ukrainians can perform the following tasks:
- legal and psychological support for the families of servicemen, including those killed and missing;
- production of camouflage nets and trench candles, sewing adaptive clothing and special cushions for the wounded, repairing military equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- preparation of food packages for the Armed Forces: production of dry rations, energy bars, long-term storage baked goods;
- assistance to the population, including persons with disabilities, children, elderly people, the sick, and others who cannot cope with adverse conditions of military, natural, and technological nature on their own.
'For example, in Chernihiv region, weaving camouflage nets for the needs of the Armed Forces is extremely popular. Such workers in the region are called 'camouflage fairies'. In just two weeks this month, the employment service in Chernihiv has issued 555 such referrals, which constitutes more than half of the total amount of work under the 'Army of Restoration' in the region,' - reported by the Employment Service.
Distribution of Work by Regions
Socially beneficial work is actively being carried out in 19 regions of Ukraine. The most such work is being conducted in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Poltava regions.
The 'Army of Restoration' program in Ukraine provides unemployed citizens the opportunity to engage in temporary socially beneficial work, receive a salary, and support the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The work under the program is distributed across regions, with the most active work being performed in fifteen regions of the country, led by Kharkiv, Donetsk, Kyiv, and Chernihiv regions in terms of the number of referrals. Participation in the program allows not only to receive financial rewards but also to take part in important matters for the country's defense and support servicemen and their families.
