Arsenal's victory and player injuries

After two disappointing home matches against West Ham, where fans sang 'you should have signed with a big team', Rice managed to take revenge.

Rice opened the scoring but did not celebrate, as he was playing against his former team. Bukayo Saka scored from the penalty spot, but Rice left the field due to injury 11 minutes before the final whistle.

Injuries have already become a problem for Arsenal: captain Martin Ødegaard left the game after colliding with West Ham's Krystian Bielik.

A good victory despite difficulties

This victory was the 300th for Arteta as the club's head coach. He hopes that the injuries will not be serious and that the team can recover after the international break.

The start of the season has been tough, but the team remains confidently among the leaders, with only one loss and five victories. Among the new signings, such as Viktor Gyökeres, there is hope for further progress in the game.

Saka had the chance to mark his 200th Premier League match, but his goal was disallowed for offside. However, Arsenal came close to their second goal, eventually, Rice finished the attack with a beautiful strike.

After Ødegaard's injury, who left the field in the 30th minute, Martin Zubimendi came on as a substitute and showed a good performance, providing optimism for the team.

West Ham's new coach, Nuno Espírito Santo, while looking more organized, still lacks quality in attack, which is reflected in their position on the table.

PENALTY DECISION

MARK HALSEY VERDICT: Arsenal penalty decision was the CORRECT call... it doesn't matter if foul started outside area

By Mark Halsey

JURRIER TIMBER won a penalty for Arsenal after being fouled by West Ham player El Hadji Malick Diouf.

Although the foul started outside the box, it continued inside.

If the foul was committed outside the penalty area and continues inside, a penalty will be awarded. This was the correct decision.

Some may say it was too soft, but there is no such thing in the game. It is either a foul or it is not.

Diouf was not on the right side of Timber. When you grab a player like that, he will fall.

Arsenal's team showed good gameplay despite injuries to key players. This victory will help them maintain their confidence and continue the fight for high positions in the league table. Upcoming matches will be crucial for restoring the squad and testing the strength of the reserves.
