According to Novyny.live: On June 28, 2023, Russian forces launched a drone attack on the city of Kropyvnytskyi, igniting a blaze at a local industrial facility. Andriy Raikovych, head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration, reported that explosions were heard in the city at 7:55 PM. Firefighters worked through the night to extinguish the flames caused by the bombardment. According to Raikovych, no casualties were recorded in the incident.
Last evening, the enemy struck the regional center, targeting one of its enterprises. The attack triggered a fire. Emergency crews labored for half the night and successfully contained the blaze.

On the same day, June 28, Russian forces also carried out multiple airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia, killing two people and wounding 17 others. Additionally, widespread strikes hit Chernihiv and its surrounding region, underscoring a sharp escalation in hostilities across the area.
This drone assault on Kropyvnytskyi is part of a broader intensification of the conflict in Ukraine, amid ongoing military operations. The attacks and airstrikes in other regions highlight a surge in violence that poses serious risks to civilians. Authorities are continuing efforts to ensure public safety, though the situation remains tense.
