According to UATV: On July 24, the Kyiv region was struck by a missile attack that left six people dead and dozens injured. In a separate assault, the city of Sloviansk also suffered losses, with five fatalities and nine wounded from aerial bombardments.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated, 'Rescue operations are ongoing in the Kyiv region following the Russian missile strike. As of now, we know of dozens of injured. Tragically, six people have died. My condolences to their families and loved ones.'

Emergency services are on the scene, working to clear debris and provide medical aid to the victims.

Sloviansk Under Fire

In Sloviansk, which also came under air attack, 'five people were killed. My condolences to their families. Nine were wounded,' Zelenskyy reported. He added that 'the Russians damaged ordinary residential buildings, a consulate building, and cars.'

The strikes also destroyed or damaged ten private homes and the premises of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Latvia.

The Ukrainian president underscored the gravity of the situation, saying: 'These are brutal attacks on people, for which the Russians must be held accountable. Russia has long ignored all international norms and all human decency. They are only interested in continuing the killing.'

He also stressed the need for continued international support: 'It is crucial that our partners fully understand that the protection of lives depends on them as well. Missiles for Patriot systems are priority number one.'
