Tragedy in the Sumy Community
According to Espreso.tv: On July 3, a hostile attack on the Sumy community claimed four lives, among them a 33-year-old woman and her 5-year-old daughter. Additionally, 33 people were reportedly injured, including seven children. The strike occurred between 9:38 PM and 9:46 PM, when the enemy dropped five guided aerial bombs.
The attack caused extensive damage, affecting:
- 14 apartment buildings
- a medical facility
- two educational institutions
- eight shops
- a café
- five vehicles
This tragedy adds another sorrowful chapter to the region's history, which is already marked by ongoing hostilities. It underscores the constant danger faced by civilians in conflict zones.
Strikes on Other Regions
In addition to the Sumy attack, the Russian army also targeted the Kherson and Odesa regions during the night of July 3-4. Oleh Kashperuk expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, stating:
“On behalf of myself and the entire Sumy police force, I offer my sincere sympathies to our colleague, the relatives, and loved ones of those who died.”
