Attacks in Sumy and Kherson Region

According to Espreso.tv: Russian attacks in the cities of Sumy and the Kherson region have resulted in numerous casualties and significant destruction. In Sumy, shelling left 27 people injured, seven of whom are children. Tragically, the fatalities include a 5-year-old girl, her 34-year-old mother, and a 61-year-old man. The girl's older sister is currently hospitalized in moderate condition. According to medical personnel, efforts were made to save the child at the site of the Russian strike, but resuscitation attempts proved unsuccessful, and she died from her injuries.

Strike on a Poultry Farm

On July 3, Russia also launched several guided aerial bomb attacks on the premises of the 'Chornobaivska' poultry farm, one of the largest poultry enterprises in Ukraine and Europe. The strikes ignited a massive fire on the facility's grounds. Emergency services are currently on-site, working to contain the aftermath and assess the full extent of the damage. Preliminary estimates place the losses from the attack on the poultry farm in the hundreds of millions of dollars. It is worth noting that during the occupation of the Kherson region, 4.7 million birds perished.

These recent events underscore the ongoing escalation of the conflict in Ukraine, where civilians continue to bear the brunt of military operations. Attacks on residential areas and critical infrastructure, such as poultry farms, inflict severe economic and social harm, further complicating recovery efforts in war-affected regions. Such incidents highlight the urgent need for international intervention and support for a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
