The Prosecutor General's Office closed 35% of cases against businesses: audit details.
According to inkorr.com: The Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko reported on the audit of over 23 thousand criminal cases in the business sector. In 35% of cases, decisions were made to close cases due to insufficient grounds for charges and inadequate prospects for trial.
'This work is about protecting honest entrepreneurs and punishing those who are accountable under the law. Everyone is equal before the law. There are no 'insiders' and 'outsiders'. If you act honestly - we will protect you. If you violate the law, there will be consequences,' emphasized Kravchenko.
Kravchenko noted that businesses lacked guarantees of protection from prosecutorial actions. In this context, the 'StopPressure' portal was launched, allowing entrepreneurs to appeal and receive prompt responses.
Audit of Criminal Cases
During the audit, many cases were identified that were closed due to lack of evidence or baselessness in court. The Prosecutor General emphasized the need to protect honest entrepreneurs and punish those who violate the law, highlighting the principles of equality before the law for all. The special portal 'StopPressure' was created to facilitate interaction with businesses and provide prompt responses from the prosecution.
The introduction of such an audit gives honest entrepreneurs hope for the protection of their rights and legitimate interests. The 'StopPressure' portal opens new opportunities for rapid response to the issues faced by entrepreneurs and can become an important tool in combating abuses by law enforcement agencies.
