Wolfgang Gattmannsdorfer, Austria's Federal Minister of Economy, Energy, and Tourism, announced investment plans targeting the Kyiv and Lviv regions. Minister Gattmannsdorfer emphasized Austria's consistent support for Ukraine, noting his country's backing of the 20th sanctions package against Russia. "Austria stands unconditionally with Ukraine. We advocate for alleviating humanitarian suffering," stated Gattmannsdorfer.

He announced the signing of a mandate concerning green hydrogen, describing it as "a promising direction." Austria has identified the Kyiv and Lviv regions as key investment zones, which could stimulate the economic development of these areas.

Further steps include the planned signing of a Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) protocol and a Political Declaration on implementing the Framework Agreement, which will deepen cooperation between the two nations in these sectors.
