Awkward moment at the Singapore Grand Prix

According to The Sun: Martin Brundle found himself in a funny situation during the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Singapore when he tried to talk to Lewis Capaldi.

As a fan of Sky Sports F1, he actively searched for stars in the pit lane and spoke with media personalities like Dec Whitehall and David Corenswet.

But he took it in stride and shook his hand

Brundle, 66, mistook the musician Lewis Capaldi for, as he thought, his brother Anthony.

Laughing, Brundle apologized, but it was nice that Lewis himself was available for a quick chat.

The Sky Sports host spoke with both brothers and asked who they were supporting on the track. They replied that they were supporting McLaren.

After the conversation, Brundle thanked them for their time, but did not notice that Capaldi had extended his hand for a handshake, leaving it hanging in the air.

Lewis took it humorously by shaking his own hand and laughing about the awkward situation.

“Lewis Capaldi took it well, that’s Brundle’s best moment in the pit lane!”

Another onlooker noted: “That’s one of the best TV segments I've seen in a while.”

A third added: “My favorite pit lane moment this year.”
