No magnetic storms expected on Earth
Today, August 15, our planet is not threatened by a magnetic storm. The Sun is maintaining moderate activity, with only 14 minor class C flares recorded, having virtually no impact on Earth.

Currently, the geomagnetic field remains in a calm to active state. The activity of the Sun will be moderate with a minimal chance of X-class flares.

- Chance of M-class flares on the Sun — 45%
- Chance of X-class flares on the Sun — 5%
