Ejiofor's brothers have also achieved success in Barcelona
Amazing Achievements
Ejiofor impressed everyone by scoring an incredible 145 goals in 52 matches, playing at the 'family to family' level. This statistic has raised comparisons with Real Madrid's star striker Kylian Mbappe.
With super-agent Pini Zahavi, known for his work with Neymar, the young talent has strong backing for his career.
Destiny has become one of the most successful footballers in his age group, scoring 100 goals in 27 matches for the under-10 team in the 2023-24 season. Notably, he scored 20 goals in the prestigious Iscar Cup tournament alone.
The number of goals scored indicates that, even when playing in the under-12 team, he continues to show incredible goal-scoring ability.
Competition Success
This year, Destiny once again impressed everyone as Barcelona won the under-11 category at the Iscar Cup tournament, beating Real 4-2 in the final.
Recently, last weekend, he became the top scorer at the Jordi Pitarque Cepria tournament, scoring three goals in a match that ended 7-1.
Family and Legacy
Destiny is the third Ejiofor brother to gain recognition in the 'Blaugranas' youth league.
His father, Eike Pascal, hails from Nigeria and played in Spain's third division.
All three brothers – David Obinna, Divin Ikkena, and Destiny – play for Barca. In April 2024, they each scored twice for their teams over one weekend.
Eike said:
“By God's grace, I have three children in Barcelona. All three are showing good performance, but Destiny, in my opinion, is a bit better at this level.”
David, 16, joined the Catalan giants in 2017 and has become a prolific goalscorer at the 'family to family' level. He managed to transition to the '11-a-side' game, although it was not easy, but he maintained his place at Barcelona. He currently plays in the fifth division for UE Cornella.
Divin, 15 years old, continues to play for Barca and is progressing in the under-15 team, but the greatest hopes are pinned on Destiny.
Destiny Ejiofor's successes in youth football are significant not only for him but also for Barcelona's future. His performances attract interest among top European clubs, and the situation around him only underscores how important support in youth academies is for nurturing new football stars.
Given his impressive statistics and scout observations, Destiny undoubtedly has a bright football future ahead of him.
