Budget brand Lefties is entering Britain: what is known about its competitors Primark.
According to The Sun: The popular European store is finally appearing on British streets.
Lefties, a budget brand, intends to compete with such names as Primark by offering stylish clothing at affordable prices.
GettyBritish shoppers are already familiar with this brand, as it originated as an outlet for leftover Zara goods in Spain in 1993.
Now the brand has changed its format: it has moved away from last year's Zara collections and has become an affordable fashion standard in 18 countries.
After gaining popularity in Spain, Portugal, and Mexico, Lefties plans to enter the British market in 2026.
Inditex SA, the parent company of the brand, plans to open at least four stores, according to Retail Gazette.
Inditex is the parent company of many popular brands, including Zara, Bershka, and Pull&Bear.
Possible locations
The brand is considering opening stores in the Bluewater shopping center in Kent and Lakeside in Essex.
London's Westfield and Oxford Street may also become potential addresses.
According to a Bloomberg report, Inditex has yet to comment on the details of its plans.
The intention to open Lefties stores in Ukraine became known in June.
The brand plans to launch flagship stores covering 30,000 square feet in shopping centers, according to Drapers.
Competitor to Primark
Lefties could become serious competition for Primark.
Both brands specialize in affordable clothing, and currently, Primark is the market leader.
However, recently, Primark reported a downturn due to declining sales in the UK.
The store recently closed its first establishment in the last decade.
Additionally, Primark has begun testing significant changes in its stores, which shoppers are eagerly awaiting.

LEFTIES
As Lefties opens its stores in the UK, it plans to offer customers new opportunities for fashionable shopping at affordable prices. This will be a significant step in the development of the brand, which has already gained popularity in other countries. The fashion market in the UK, where prices are an important factor in the selection process, could give the brand a chance for success. Whether Lefties can become a true competitor for Primark will become clear over time as the first stores begin their operations. Read also
