The charitable non-governmental organization 'SOS Children's Villages Ukraine' has opened registration for a grant program with financial support from Germany for vulnerable Ukrainian families. As part of the project, participants will be able to receive financial assistance of up to 179,000 UAH for the development of their own business.This is reported by the press service of the NGO 'SOS Children's Villages Ukraine'.
Grant Business Program for Parents Supported by Germany
The organization notes that new opportunities have been opened for Ukrainian parents with children in several regions who wish to create or revive an old business. The project 'Socio-Economic Strengthening of Vulnerable Ukrainian Families' is starting, made possible by the active financial support of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ).Citizens can join the grant project under the following conditions:- If the applicants are parents with children who live or are registered as internally displaced persons (IDPs) in the Poltava, Kyiv, and Lviv regions.- If the candidates are parents from vulnerable families with minor children (this refers to single-parent families, families with disabled individuals).- If the applicants are parents from foster families, guardianship families, and family-type children's homes.The respective project requires mandatory training to be eligible for the grant, such as distance learning, personal consultations, providing support in creating a business plan, and the opportunity to receive a grant of up to 179,000 UAH for business.How Parents Can Join the Competition
According to the press service of the NGO 'SOS Children's Villages Ukraine', the project will launch on September 15, 2025, and registration will continue until August 31. Participation in the program is free. To apply, an online application form must be filled out.Questions or suggestions can be sent in a letter to the organizers' email address.'Together we will create stories of change and new opportunities!', the charitable organization emphasized.Ukrainians affected by the aggression of the Russian Federation can receive assistance from a new project by Caritas. Preference will be given to individuals with disabilities, pensioners, large families, and single parents. An Emergency Appeal 2025 program has also been launched, which will provide financial assistance to Ukrainians affected by the war, including those who have suffered injuries.Read also
