According to The Sun: Convicted killer Oscar Pistorius is reportedly planning to get married and raise children 12 years after murdering his former girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

Pistorius spent nine years behind bars for killing his model girlfriend.

He shot Steenkamp, 29, after firing four shots through the locked bathroom door in the early hours of February 14, 2013, in Pretoria, South Africa.

The double amputee, known as 'Blade Runner' for the prosthetics he used during the Paralympics, was sentenced to 13 years and five months for murder.

New relationship and future plans

Now Pistorius and Rita are in love – according to information provided by DailyMail, the former Paralympian is 'smitten' with his new partner.

One source noted:

“Pistorius said he wants to settle down and have children. He sees this as the next step for them.”

Grayling, a business management consultant from Wakerstrom, Eastern South Africa, is reportedly keeping her romantic relationship with Pistorius a secret.

Sources close to the couple have reported that Pistorius is trying to rebuild his life. One acquaintance added:

“He is trying to rebuild his life modestly, avoiding bars and restaurants, and is volunteering at church.”

Pistorius has moved in with a relative in Pretoria, who provides him with security. Uncle Arnold, who made a fortune in real estate and tourism, has hired guards with dogs, and Pistorius lives in a cottage on his property.

Since it is difficult for Pistorius, who has a criminal record, to find a job, part of his rehabilitation involves volunteering at church.

His sentence ends in 2029, but he is subject to certain conditions regarding living outside prison walls, which include undergoing therapy for anger management and issues related to gender-based violence.

Steenkamp family's words

The Steenkamp family has previously stated that Pistorius should not expect forgiveness and issued a stern warning.
