The Ukrainian government plans to launch a new program that will allow citizens aged 40 and over to undergo annual free medical examinations. This will be part of the strategy to strengthen the healthcare system and support medical professionals.

Who Will Be Eligible for Free Examinations

Starting in 2026, Ukrainian citizens aged 40 and over will have the opportunity to undergo a free medical check-up once a year. The program will cover basic health indicators and help identify health issues in a timely manner.

According to a statement by Prime Minister

, the government intends to launch this project as soon as possible to improve diagnostics and access to medical services for all citizens.

What Support Ukrainian Medical Workers Can Expect in 2025

In addition to the medical check-up program, the government plans to raise the basic salary of doctors to 35,000 UAH per month. Financial assistance of 200,000 UAH will also be provided to medical workers serving in rural areas or on the front lines. Furthermore, they may be offered official housing.

The implementation of the free check-up program and support for medical professionals will contribute not only to the timely detection of health issues in the population but also to the improvement of medical services across all regions of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian government has begun preparations for launching a new annual free medical examination program for citizens aged 40 and over.
