According to a conducted survey, 75% of arms and military equipment manufacturing companies stated that as of the beginning of December 2024, they are not negotiating supply for the next year with state customers.

This was reported by representatives of the Technological Forces of Ukraine, who released the results of the study.

Only 25% of manufacturers confirmed the presence of negotiation processes regarding the state budget for 2025 with state customers.

'As a result, we see that only a few companies already have contracts signed for the next year. An even smaller percentage has transitional contracts. The lack of predictable contracting threatens the army's supply,' emphasizes the Executive Director of TSU, Kateryna Mykhalko.

Kateryna Mykhalko explains that if the Armed Forces need a supply of drones by June 2025, then orders for their production must be placed back in December 2024.

According to TSU's research, as of the beginning of December 2024, only 19% of manufacturers have signed transitional state contracts for the manufacture and supply of military equipment.

TSU claims that none of the surveyed defense industry companies believe that the state will be able to fully utilize their production capacities.
