BK Rivne has strengthened with three American legionnaires: all transfer details.
According to inkorr.com: The basketball club 'Rivne' has been preparing for the new Superleague season by reinforcing its roster with three legionnaires from the USA. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian basketball administration, referring to the Basketball Federation of Ukraine.
The new players of the team are guard Carlos Heinz, forward Cyvon Traylor, and center Jaylen Dupree.
New legionnaires
Cyvon Traylor previously played for Zaporizhzhia but left the team after the shelling. In the 2023/24 season, he played at Peru State College, where he showed good results - averaging 15.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game.
Carlos Heinz played at Peru State College for the last two years, demonstrating average statistics of 18.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game.
Jaylen Dupree has experience playing in Europe, particularly in Romania and Colombia. In the Colombian championship, his averages were 10.6 points and 4.7 rebounds per game.
It is reminded that the new season of the men's Superleague kicks off on October 3 with matches in Cherkasy, Kyiv, and Ivano-Frankivsk.
It is also worth noting that the Ukrainian national basketball team won the pre-qualification for the 2027 World Championship by defeating Slovakia with a score of 98:86.
This year promises to be interesting for Ukrainian basketball. The emergence of new legionnaires in teams will again increase competition in the Superleague and attract the attention of fans.
