Christmas Shopping at B&M

According to The Sun: Shoppers at B&M are thrilled with the new affordable box of Christmas treats from M&S, which costs just £3 — that's 70% cheaper than the original.

Facebook / Snack Reviews

A treat fan couldn't resist and shared the find on Facebook, writing:

“Closer look at Christmas Treats Tin from B&M.”

What's in the box

The box includes gummy bears, Christmas trees, reindeer, and Santas, as well as big popcorn pieces, chocolate pretzels, white chocolate buttons, and candies.

Commentators noted:

“They look like the M&S tin but a lot cheaper.”

This purchase will be the perfect option for those who want to prepare for the holidays early.

One commentator wrote:

“Saw these today wish I had picked one up.”

Another expressed:

“Have to say wasn’t impressed with the M&S Easter one and it cost £10 so will give it a go.”

Buyer Caution

However, some users expressed concern about buying these treats before the holiday season begins.

One person noted:

“I can not buy chocolate and sweets now I will eat them before Christmas.”

Another added:

“For goodness sake, way too early to be buying Christmas food etc.”

A third commentator warned:

“If you bought that now it will be stale by Christmas.”

Comparison with M&S and Market Competition

M&S once sold the “Very Merry Munch Mix” for £10, which is considered a classic Christmas selection. This set contains the “iconic mix” of milk and white chocolate popcorn, salty and dark chocolate pretzels, milk nuts, and caramel almonds.

Not only B&M and M&S offer Christmas sets. At the end of last year, shoppers in Aldi also had the chance to buy a version of M&S, which cost 50% less — “Reindeer Munch Mix” for £4.99.

This set included caramel popcorn, salty pretzels, roasted and candied nuts, as well as chocolate malt balls.

Aldi also offered its “Dairyfine Snowman Munch Mix” with Christmas treats, which included marzipan popcorn, assorted jelly beans, white chocolate candies, and raisins in milk chocolate.

Home Bargains also has its own version of Christmas sets called “Santa Munch Mix”.

Christmas shopping is picking up momentum, and shoppers are looking for great deals. With new and affordable sets appearing in stores, competition is getting tougher. While some choose to save, others feel it's still too early for the holiday season. Nevertheless, one thing is clear: every year, Christmas shopping becomes more exciting!
