The operation, led by Oleksandr Pivnenko, targeted the jet as it was preparing for a combat mission to launch further strikes on Ukrainian territory. The first drone hit the Su-24M's nose section, while the second struck near its fuel tanks.

Execution of Combat Tasks

Units from the 1st Corps of the National Guard 'Azov' and the 2nd Corps 'Khartyia' are carrying out combat missions at ranges exceeding 100 kilometers, aimed at hitting:

• logistics routes
• ammunition depots
• command posts
• air defense systems
• concentration points for enemy personnel and aviation

According to Pivnenko, such strikes significantly weaken the enemy's combat capabilities, disrupt their supply chain, and force them to divert substantial resources to defend their own rear areas.
