Boots has expanded its rapid delivery service

According to The Sun: The Boots store network has significantly expanded its rapid delivery service, now available in 500 stores across the UK. Customers can receive health and beauty products right at their doorstep in just a few minutes.

This new delivery option has become possible due to collaboration with Deliveroo and Uber Eats, which has doubled its reach — previously the service operated in only 250 stores.

Now shoppers can order over 10,000 products, including cold and flu medications, newborn supplies, pregnancy tests, as well as perfumes and cosmetics.

Checkout is very simple: customers use the Deliveroo or Uber Eats apps, and store staff prepare the products for delivery.

Couriers deliver products in sealed packaging.

Some stores, including ten in London, offer extended delivery hours until midnight and plan to expand night delivery to other locations soon.

Boots first partnered with Deliveroo in 2021, and this year added Uber Eats.

Some selected stores also offer delivery through Just Eat.

“More and more customers turn to Deliveroo for essential products, and we are excited to expand our partnership with Boots to provide quick access to thousands of high-quality products,” said Suzy McClintock, Vice President of New Verticals at Deliveroo.

“The wide range of products from Boots that our customers are now choosing for delivery – from medications to beauty products – shows just how convenient single-component ordering is becoming in everyday life,” added Katie Hunter, General Manager of Uber UK.

Earlier this year, Boots significantly updated its loyalty program. Now customers can earn points by ordering through Deliveroo and Uber Eats.

For every pound spent on delivery platforms, customers earn one point if they enter their Advantage card number during checkout.

During their birthday month, customers can double their points – earning six points for every pound spent.
