Newcastle and Bournemouth played to a goalless draw: Howe failed to beat his former club again.
According to The Sun: Newcastle's head coach Eddie Howe, who has struggled to secure a victory in his hometown for some time, again failed to lead his team to victory.
The goalless draw only earned his team one point, but it marked another winless game for Howe against the club he loves.

Both teams were left dissatisfied with the goalless draw, in which just three shots were recorded throughout the match.
Newcastle's coach cannot overcome Bournemouth
Eddie Howe, who played 770 games for Bournemouth as a player and coach, will never be forgotten for lifting the club from League Two to the Premier League in two stages.
However, he has not managed to win in seven matches against Bournemouth since his arrival in Newcastle in November 2021.
The coach demonstrated his uncompromising approach, making seven changes to the team after the defeat against Barcelona in the Champions League.
Moreover, he left captain Bruno Guimarães on the bench during his return to the south.
Also missing was Antony Gordon due to suspension and Fabian Schär, who was ruled out due to concussion protocols.
Andoni Iraola's team created many problems for their opponents, knowing that they had suffered a heavy defeat from Barça on Thursday.
In the 15th minute, they could have opened the scoring: Tavernier passed to Evaniilson, whose cross led to Brooks failing to score as VAR detected an offside position.
The match gradually quieted down into a goalless draw, although Nick Woltamad had a chance to take a penalty. However, referee Robert Jones upheld his VAR decision.
French defender Bafode Diakite indeed pulled Woltamad's shirt in the penalty area, but under the circumstances, it did not lead to a penalty.
Newcastle's goalkeeper Nick Pope saved the team in injury time, making a wonderful save after Justin Kluivert's free-kick — it was the first shot on target in the second half!
This draw extended Newcastle's winless streak, which has lasted several matches. For Howe, it's another opportunity to rethink his strategy and motivate the team to improve their results. The upcoming matches will be crucial for the club's possible exit from the crisis it finds itself in.
