Brazilian model Elizane Silva is six feet eight inches tall due to a benign tumor She significantly exceeds the height of her husband Francinaldo Despite bullying, Elizane now embraces her height and seeks a modeling career

Elizane admits that the height difference does not affect their relationship – in fact, it was her husband who won her heart.

“Since I was five, I noticed something was off, as I was the only one in my family and class who reached such great height.”

Her parents, Ana Maria Ramos and Luis Jorge, were astonished.

“My mother is only 5 feet 4 inches, and my father is 5 feet 7 inches, so it was a shock for the whole family when I became the tallest at such a young age,”
she explained.

At 10 years old, Elizane began experiencing pain in her bones and head due to her rapid growth.

A doctor recommended undergoing tests, but her family could not afford it. Then a national television network decided to help, offering to cover her medical expenses in exchange for her story aired on air.

“The national television network contacted my family after hearing my story. In 2010, we flew to São Paulo, Brazil, where I appeared on national television and went through all tests for free,”
she recalls.

Doctors found she had a benign pituitary tumor that caused excessive growth hormone production – a condition known as gigantism.

Although Elizane got answers to her questions, school life became unbearable due to bullying.

“I remember closing myself off at home, as I felt sick from the hurtful comments I constantly heard,”
she reminisced.

The situation changed when she met Francinaldo in 2011.

“I fell in love with him at first sight, as he was the first who treated me like a person and not some kind of monster,”
she noted.

The couple quickly got engaged and married in September 2015, later becoming parents to their son Angelo, who is now three years old.

The television network financed her medical examinations after her family couldn't afford them Elizane found love with Francinaldo, who is five feet tall and accepted her as she is

“When we walked the streets, we often heard comments from people, but now that we have our beautiful son, I am no longer in the spotlight,”

she shares.

Angelo already reaches three feet three inches, but Elizane does not believe he will inherit her remarkable height.

“I don’t believe he will grow as tall as I am, as I think my condition is not hereditary,”
she explained.

After years of shame, Elizane finally began to accept her body and aims to become a professional model.

“Although I have not yet succeeded, I usually go out on the streets and do professional shoots to add them to my portfolio for agencies,”
she says.

Elizane proudly holds the title of “the tallest woman in Brazil” online.

“I have learned to love myself for my unique height, as there are very few like me, and I consider it special,”
she adds.

Elizane sends an important message to everyone:

“Don’t let people judge you by your appearance or who you love – stay true to yourself, and you will live a happy life.”
