113 occupiers destroyed in Chasiv Yar: results of the week of battles.
According to inkorr.com: The defenders of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Daniel delivered a stunning blow to the enemy in the Chasiv Yar area: over the week, 113 occupiers were destroyed, and another 50 were injured. This was reported by press officer Oleg Petrasyuk during the telethon.
“In just one week of battles in the section held by the 24th Brigade, the enemy lost an entire company of its fighters. And these are only those who can no longer restore their memory,” Petrasyuk emphasized. Ukrainian troops also destroyed two enemy artillery systems.
Nature of the battles
The press officer noted that the nature of combat actions in Chasiv Yar has fundamentally changed over the past year due to the widespread use of drones, which have become an important factor in this conflict. This has led to a “very specific” war, where even sudden changes in weather can significantly affect circumstances on the battlefield.
Petrasyuk refuted Russian claims of full control over Chasiv Yar, which were voiced two months ago. “We occupy certain positions, hold part of the city, and of course, positional battles within the city continue,” he emphasized.
Change of enemy units
According to the press officer, a rotation of enemy troops recently took place in the Chasiv Yar area: the 98th division, which had been opposing Ukrainian defenders for a long time, was replaced by the 72nd motorized rifle division. The new forces continue to attempt to break through, depending on the circumstances.
In Chasiv Yar, Ukrainian defenders dealt a serious blow to the enemy, destroying a large number of fighters and artillery weapons. Combat actions in this region have significantly changed due to the use of drones, which have become a key element in military operations. The rotation of enemy troops indicates the tension of the situation at the front, where Ukrainian defenders resolutely defend their positions against new attacks from the adversary.
