British man arrested in Spain on suspicion of sexual assault against a teenager.
According to The Sun: A 59-year-old woman from Great Britain has been arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl at a popular beach in Costa del Sol in the early days of this month.
According to reports, the British woman approached the teenager on the beach, spoke to her in English to gain her trust, and then proceeded to act inappropriately. The young girl, who is an Italian citizen, sought help at a nearby shop where a relative worked, and after that, the police were called.
Local authorities detained the woman, who is reported to have a history of sexual offenses, in the same area where the incident occurred. Although the arrest was made by local police, she was brought to court by Civil Guard representatives.
It is unclear whether the British woman was a tourist or a resident of Spain, and whether she was kept in custody pending further investigation or released on bail.
'Her reported behavior is disgusting and unacceptable,' said local counselor Juan Carlos Cuevas.
He praised the cooperation of local residents and the quick response of the police in the arrest, emphasizing the importance of community collaboration in preventing serious incidents of this nature.
Another event that occurred this month was the arrest of a British mercenary, who was identified by Spanish police as being wanted, in Costa del Sol after he reportedly created a disturbance at a gas station.
Police discovered guns, ammunition, and a silencer in the damaged Nissan Qashqai of the suspect after a conflict with two women. The man was reportedly bothering the women in an attempt to buy cocaine from them before fleeing and colliding with his vehicle.
Upon the arrival of law enforcement, the suspect attempted to flee but was arrested with noticeable injuries and was immediately detained.
Summary
This month, two serious incidents involving British nationals occurred in Costa del Sol: one involving an assault on a 14-year-old Italian girl, and the other involving the arrest of a suspected hitman who was wanted. In both cases, the police identified the criminals and successfully detained them, noting the importance of public cooperation and the prompt response that helps prevent similar incidents.Read also
