In a ranking of 20 cities, Bath claimed the number one spot thanks to exceptionally high satisfaction levels among its residents. According to the survey, 93% of respondents from Bath confirmed that their city makes them happy.

Situated 150 kilometers west of London, Bath is home to over 80,000 people. The second position in the ranking went to Panama City, the capital of Panama, while third place was secured by Guadalajara, Mexico. The list of the world’s happiest cities is composed of 20 urban areas, each assessed based on five statements rated by survey participants.
