Predictions about Russia: Economic and Human Resources are on the Brink

According to ТСН: Reaching a peace agreement with Ukraine may be the only path for Russia as the situation for the aggressor country becomes increasingly difficult.

This opinion was expressed by former British Army Colonel Hamish de Bretton-Gordon in one of his comments.

The expert noted that the Kremlin will soon face a shortage of both financial and human resources.

In his opinion, the Russian army will soon be unable to recruit from prisoners and representatives of national minorities who are sent to the front.

"Young people from the elite of Moscow and St. Petersburg will increasingly head to the front lines. When this happens, oligarchs and the wealthy minority in Russia will start seriously questioning the sensibility of this war," said de Bretton-Gordon.

He also added that the Russian economy is already on the brink of collapse, and oil prices, which previously helped finance the Kremlin's army, are decreasing.

"Now, with India and other countries receiving instructions from Trump not to buy Russian oil, and considering that global oil prices are falling below $40, Russia's treasury will empty. Putin cannot produce ammunition and tanks without money," emphasized de Bretton-Gordon.

Analyzing the situation in Russia, he pointed out that Russians have long been feeling the consequences of inflation and high interest rates, and prices for essential products are constantly rising.

"Considering that money is running out in Russia, ultimately Putin's war machine will come to a halt. He cannot continue the war for long as financial and human resources, ammunition are depleted," concluded the British expert.

As a reminder, according to data from Ukrainian intelligence, last year the Kremlin planned to recruit 400,000 people into the occupying army, and this plan has been almost fulfilled. This year, the influx may be even greater.

Thus, Russia's economic and human resources continue to remain critical. The decline in global oil prices, the unfavorable situation within the country, and the increasing burden of war may lead to significant changes in the Kremlin's future strategy. As the population begins to question the sensibility of the conflict, the nature of Russia's future actions becomes increasingly unpredictable.
