In the club's statement, it read:

“Cheltenham Town can confirm that we have parted ways with manager Michael Flynn following today’s defeat to Oldham.”

“Everyone at the club would like to thank Michael for his efforts and contributions during his time with us, and we wish him all the best in the future.”

Flynn was appointed as Cheltenham's head coach in May last year, where he managed to lead the team to a 15th place finish in its first season.

However, in the current season the club has won only one match out of nine in League Two and currently sits at the bottom with just four points.

THIS IS A DEVELOPING STORY...

The loss of a head coach is always a significant moment for a club, as each new decision can impact future results. Now, Cheltenham needs to find a new manager who can lift the team from the bottom spot and restore lost confidence. The situation at the club remains tense, and fans hope for quick positive changes.
