According to The Sun: BROOKLYN EARICK has abandoned his intention to buy Tottenham for £4.5 billion after a clear statement from the Lewis family that the club is not for sale.

According to Sun Sport, the 41-year-old former DJ Erik formed a consortium of 12 people in the USA to finance this offer.

Erik offered £3.3 billion for the club and an additional £1.2 billion for transfers, salaries, and agent fees.

Although the current owners of ENIC and the Lewis family have 'clearly rejected' the original offer, there were detailed discussions between the parties last week.

However, no sale agreement for the club was reached, as the Lewis family has made it clear that they want to continue supporting the development of the team. Therefore, Erik decided to officially withdraw his offer.

This is confirmed by a statement to the stock exchange referring to the original offer that was submitted last month.

“Another statement from the board of Tottenham Hotspur Limited on September 26, 2025, contains the confirmation. Mr. Brooklyn Erik confirms that he does not intend to make a binding offer for the company.”

“Accordingly, Mr. Brooklyn Erik and any person acting in concert with him, shall, except with the consent of the Takeover Panel, be bound by the restrictions set out in Rule 2.8 of the Code.”

As it became known, Erik actively discussed the details of the deal with Douglas Armstrong, the legal adviser to the Lewis family.

Despite this, the agreement does not exclude the possibility of future offers, as the exchange noted: “Mr. Brooklyn Erik and the consortium also reserve the right to acquire shares in the company, in accordance with the Code and other applicable regulations.”
