Budanov explained the operation of Russian IPSO and named the safest messenger.

The head of the GUR MOU, Kyrylo Budanov, spoke about the impact of Information-Psychological Operations (IPSO) on Ukrainian society and how to teach it to consume information correctly.
He discussed this in an interview with Anna Maksymchuk.
According to Budanov, Ukraine often uses IPSO on the territory of Russia.
'Do you mean that the enemy will try to carry out its strategic disinformation operations? Well, that's obvious. We did the same in Russia. Especially at the beginning. Remember, they had mobilization in 2022. Everything wasn't exactly smooth, so to speak. It works like this. You take a real fact, of which there may not be too many, and just scale it up. No one can say it's not true because the footage is real, there are real people, everyone can recognize this person, in principle. Everything is real. It's just that the scale of it is significantly increased. And the Russians are working here too. The same thing' - explained the head of the GUR.
The head of the GUR noted that it is impossible to teach society to consume information correctly.
'Well, that's true. Trust official sources. But you're living in the 21st century, you open your browser, you see tens of thousands of news resources, they will still have an impact,' - he stated.
The head of intelligence also spoke about the most secure messengers and phones among them - Telegram, Signal, Viber, WhatsApp.
'Well, if this didn't seem strange after recent events, among the mentioned, Signal is significantly better protected as a messenger. But again, if someone's phone is hacked - very rarely are messengers hacked, then it doesn't matter which messenger you have installed. Because they have already gained access to the phone' - explained Budanov.
Answering a question about the difference between phone models and their ease of hacking, he noted that this does not matter.
'Because this is Russian experience. There was a different goal there, there is a goal of control. Therefore, to make life easier, everyone was told: 'Use button phones.' Ordinary GSM communication is intercepted with one hundred percent guarantee. Therefore, it is easier to control what people are talking about,' - he added.
Let's recall, Rutte outlined NATO's red lines in negotiations regarding Ukraine.
