The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, and Yale University professor, well-known historian, and researcher of totalitarianism Timothy Snyder discussed issues related to the Russo-Ukrainian war, the future of Europe, and the Ukrainian nation within the family of European nations. This is reported by the GUR.

At the beginning of the meeting, Budanov noted the professor's confident command of the Ukrainian language, which Snyder learned in just a year. 

In turn, the scholar expressed admiration for some operations of Ukrainian military intelligence, particularly those related to the neutralization of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.

Budanov and Snyder discussed strategic issues related to the Russo-Ukrainian war, the future of Europe, and the Ukrainian nation within the family of European nations.

At the end of the meeting, the head of the GUR asked the professor to autograph one of his most fundamental books - "The Reconstruction of Nations: Poland, Ukraine, Lithuania, Belarus".

Budanov also gave Snyder a scale model of the already legendary Magura V5 drone, which neutralized the Russian Black Sea Fleet. 

Let us recall, Ukrainian drones can strike targets in Russia at distances of up to 1800 km. The infrastructure of the Russian Federation, which supports the war effort, will incur losses. This was reported by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, on Facebook. Budanov emphasized that the unmanned systems currently being developed by specialists, including representatives of the Main Intelligence Directorate, already enable the targeting of military objects in Russia at distances of up to 1800 km.

By the way, there has not yet been a turning point in the war with Russia, but it is imminent. This was stated by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, in an interview with writer Serhiy Zhadan for "Radio Khartia".
