There were five or six shots. El Mundo revealed details of Portnov's murder.
Tragedy in Madrid
This morning, near the exclusive American school in the Madrid municipality of Pozuelo de Alarcón, a tragedy occurred: 52-year-old Ukrainian lawyer Andrei Portnov was shot dead. The man was standing by his car after taking his young children to school when he was shot from behind. The police are looking for two or three possible killers.
After Portnov was shot, a woman ran to help, after which students from a nearby dormitory called the police. Doctors pronounced the man dead from injuries sustained from multiple shots. The school where one of the students studied sent messages to parents asking them not to worry, as the students were safe at the time of the incident.
The police have launched an investigation, and it is already known that the crime was committed from behind. This tragedy may be linked to organized crime or a political action, but it requires further examination.
