According to The Sun: Burger King has introduced a new Wagyu burger, becoming the first fast-food chain in the UK to launch such a product.

This burger, which belongs to the “Gourmet” line, is made of 100% British Wagyu beef, known for its tender texture. The restaurant chain, which has over 500 locations in the UK, aims to make this premium product accessible to everyone.

The new burger and its price

The burger includes brioche seed, caramelized onion mayonnaise, pickled red onion, caramelized onion, crispy onion, and arugula. The price is £11 for the burger or £13.50 with a drink.

Gordon Ramsay, a famous chef, has become the face of the new advertising campaign, describing the burger as “f***ing delicious” and adding that he “still regrets not having made it himself.”

Impressions of the new product

Senior consumer reporter at The Sun, Blathnaid Corless, also tried the burger and noted its elegant packaging. She paid £11 for the burger, and although the price is slightly higher than the usual Burger King offerings, the quality is truly felt.

“Compared to the usual Whopper, the Wagyu burger has a buttery, nutty taste and is more tender,” said a company representative.

Burger King even specially designed a new packaging for the Wagyu that opens like a gift, revealing the burger inside.

This launch follows significant changes in the Burger King menu that began in May, with new items such as chicken fries with BBQ sauce.

Additionally, earlier this year, Burger King admitted that the recipe for their most famous burger, the Whopper, has also changed, becoming even tastier and juicier.

Thus, the introduction of the new Wagyu burger demonstrates Burger King's commitment to improving its offerings and creating a unique consumer experience. This move may attract new customers and enhance competitiveness in the fast-food market. At the same time, the changed Whopper may confirm the company's readiness for innovation, responding to consumer demands.
