Dnipro signs new center: who joined the champion of Ukraine.
New center for the basketball club 'Dnipro'
According to inkorr.com: The basketball club 'Dnipro' announced the signing of a contract with center Prince Orizu, who successfully passed the tryout. This news was reported by 'Gromadske', citing the Basketball Federation of Ukraine.
If everything goes well, the club and the 31-year-old player will sign an agreement for the 2025/2026 season, during which Orizu will play in the championship and the Cup of Ukraine.
Information about the newcomer
Prince Orizu has experience playing in Bosnia, Spain, Venezuela, and Bulgaria. Last season he played for the Bulgarian club Minyor 2015 Pernik, where he appeared in 7 matches, averaging 10 points and 4.4 rebounds in 18 minutes.
Earlier, 'Dnipro' also signed a contract with Dutch center Craig Osayuwu for participation in the European Cup.
'Dnipro' plans to meet with 'Corona' from Brasov in an attempt to qualify for the group stage of the European Cup. Matches are scheduled for September 24 and October 1.
Success of the national team
Recently, the Ukraine men's national team achieved victory in the pre-qualification for the 2027 World Championship, advancing to the main qualifying stage. This victory brings optimism regarding further participation in international tournaments.
