Russian Attacks on Energy Facilities: Consumers Left Without Power in Four Regions.
According to ТСН: As a result of Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy facilities, consumers in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson regions were left without power on the morning of December 1. Hourly power outages were introduced in all regions of the country that day.
This was reported by Ukrenergo.
In addition to the power outage affecting residents of the three mentioned regions, the restoration of electricity supply for subscribers in Odesa region is being delayed due to damage to equipment that was previously attacked by enemy drones. Active emergency recovery work continues in all these regions.
Consumption Limitation Measures
Due to massive missile and drone attacks that occurred in Ukraine, measures were taken to limit consumption on December 1:
hourly power outages ranging from 0.5 to 3 shifts;
power limitation schedules for industrial consumers and businesses.
Ukrenergo urged for energy conservation, as it will help reduce the duration of forced outages.
Strike on Energy Infrastructure
Furthermore, as a result of the drone attack on Chernihiv region on December 1, enemy drones
hit an energy infrastructure facility in Mensk and a residential building in Desnyansky community.Destruction was recorded, and two 38-year-old women were injured.
The situation with energy supply remains tense due to constant attacks on energy infrastructure. Utility services continue recovery works, however, difficulties with electricity supply may persist. It is important for the population to follow the instructions from Ukrenergo to reduce the load on the system and shorten outages.
