Border Delays at Noon: Hungary and Slovakia Report Congestion
According to Novyny.live: As of 12:00 PM on January 27, Ukrainian border authorities reported the queue situation at the country's checkpoints. According to the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, waiting lines have been recorded at the borders with Slovakia and Hungary.
The situation at the Polish border remains stable, with no passenger cars or buses reported. In contrast, the Slovak border has a queue of 5 cars, indicating moderate congestion. At the Hungarian border, the presence of 10 cars and 5 buses points to a more significant buildup of traffic.
Conditions at Other Border Crossings
At other crossings, specifically with Romania and Moldova, no queues are observed, as no passenger vehicles or buses have been registered. Overall, the data shows varying traffic intensity across different border sections, with a notable focus on increased activity toward Hungary.
Consequently, despite the absence of jams at some sections, the borders with Slovakia and Hungary require attention from drivers planning to cross there.
The situation at Ukraine's borders remains dynamic, with congestion levels differing from one crossing to another. Drivers intending to travel toward Slovakia and Hungary should be prepared for potential delays, especially during peak travel periods.
The current stability at the Polish border and the lack of queues at other sections suggest the overall trend could remain positive, barring any new factors that might affect traffic flow.
