Traffic Jams at Ukraine's Border: Seven Checkpoints Blocked by Cars on March 28.
Current Border Crossing Situation in Ukraine
According to Novyny.live: As of 12:00 on March 28, long queues for exiting Ukraine have formed at seven border checkpoints, creating a tense situation. Border officials advise travelers to plan their trips in advance to avoid significant delays, as congestion is expected to persist.
Vehicle Congestion at Border Crossings
Bottlenecks are currently reported at the following checkpoints:
- Ustyluh: 35 cars
- Uhryniv: 15 cars
- Krakovets: 35 cars
- Shehyni: 35 cars
- Malyi Bereznyi: 15 cars
- Uzhhorod: 20 cars
- Diakove: 20 cars
Notably, the Yahodyn checkpoint is currently closed to both pedestrians and passenger vehicles, which may increase pressure on other crossing points. While the borders with Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, and Moldova remain under control, queues could grow if measures are not taken to ease traffic flow.
In light of this, border guards urge citizens to account for possible delays and plan their journeys based on the latest border conditions.
The situation at the border reflects heightened crossing activity, possibly linked to upcoming holidays or other factors influencing traffic. Border authorities continue to monitor developments and remind drivers to stay alert and cautious when planning their trips to avoid unexpected hold-ups.
