According to ТСН: John F. Kennedy's granddaughter, Tatiana Schlossberg, has died of acute leukemia at the age of 35. She announced her diagnosis six weeks ago.
This became known from a statement on social media from the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, published on behalf of her family.
“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always remain in our hearts”.
What is known about John F. Kennedy's granddaughter and her family
Tatiana was born in New York and worked as a journalist, particularly in the field of environmental protection. In November 2025, she revealed that doctors had diagnosed her with acute myeloid leukemia in May 2024. This disease was detected during routine blood tests after the birth of her second child.
She was the daughter of Caroline Kennedy and designer Edwin Schlossberg. Tatiana was remembered as a loving wife to doctor George Moran and the mother of two children – Edwin, 3 years old, and Josephine, 1 year old.
In her essay for The New Yorker, Tatiana noted that she did not feel any symptoms at the time of the diagnosis and considered herself one of the healthiest people she knew. She also thanked her family for their support during the difficult treatment, emphasizing their love and care.
The Kennedy family has faced tragedies numerous times. Initially, it was the assassination of John Kennedy in 1963, followed by the death of John F. Kennedy Jr. in a plane crash in 1999, as well as the death of mother Jackie Kennedy and other relatives.
Tatiana emphasized that she wanted to preserve her mother Caroline's peace and not add new tragedies to her life.
Tatiana Schlossberg's death marks yet another sad chapter in the life of the renowned Kennedy dynasty, highlighting the family's history of illnesses, accidents, and tragic events.
It is worth noting that earlier there were reports about the deaths of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette, who were considered, after Princess Diana, among the most hounded paparazzi stars, constantly written about in the press, earning the title of “America's golden couple.”
The death of Tatiana Schlossberg is not just a loss for her family, but also another tragic chapter in the history of the Kennedy dynasty. The family continues to endure tough times, preserving the memory of their loved ones and their contributions to society.
