Sin Thiago Silva made his debut at Chelsea: what is known about the young talent.
According to The Sun: Chelsea fans were pleasantly surprised on Tuesday evening when a familiar face was spotted on the pitch. This could signal the beginning of a new era at Stamford Bridge.
One of the ball boys during the team’s victory over Benfica in the Champions League (1-0) turned out to be Isagu da Silva, the 16-year-old son of club legend Thiago Silva.

The rise of a young talent
Isagu, who is shining in Chelsea’s academy, participated in a crucial match that also marked the dramatic return of Jose Mourinho to Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, Thiago won the Champions League with Chelsea in 2021, and his older son is now eager to leave his mark at the club.
Isagu plays as a center-back for the under-18 team and is considered a player to watch. He hopes to replicate his father's success, one of the best defenders of his time.
Yesterday he helped the under-15 team win the Premier League, continuing his journey at the club.
Dreams of both brothers
Perhaps soon we will see the name 'Silva' on the back of a Chelsea shirt again, and not just one.
Isagu's younger brother, Iago, also trains with the club's youth team, and both boys dream of playing professionally in the blue colors.
Chelsea's academy pathway has been ambiguous in recent years, however, players like Levi Colwill, Trevoh Chalobah, and Josh Achiempong have already managed to break into the first team.
Isagu shared photos of his time on the pitch on Instagram — memories that could become historic if he makes it into the main squad.
Thiago has already confessed that he dreams of one day seeing both of his sons at the club he loves.
“For me, it would be a dream — to see them play professionally at Chelsea. I love watching them and helping as much as I can.”
The new generation of Silvas
Thiago is now 41 years old and has returned to Brazil, leading Fluminense, but the next generation of Silvas may begin their ascent in West London.
He joined Chelsea quite late in his career, but remained a legend, surpassing all expectations.
Chelsea player ratings in the match against Benfica
Chelsea secured an important victory over Benfica, while Jose Mourinho's return to Stamford Bridge came with complications.
Moisés Caicedo showcased excellent play again, helping the team in midfield.
However, which players faced more difficulties as the 'Blues' struggled to win 1-0 against the Portuguese giants?
Here’s how SunSport rated Chelsea's players that evening.
