Chelsea lost to Bayern in the Champions League: how the players made mistakes and who scored.
Bayern defeated Chelsea in the Champions League match with a score of 3-1
According to The Sun: Harry Kane shone in the game, replacing Didier Drogba, as Bayern capitalized on Chelsea's players' mistakes and secured a 3-1 victory at their home stadium.
Chelsea's return to the Champions League turned out to be tense, as two unfortunate moments led to an early score of 0-2.
Shutterstock Editorial GettyBayern took advantage of a repeated free-kick, after which Michael Olise crossed the ball in a way that it went past all players in blue shirts and was scored by Trevoh Chalobah into his own net.
Shortly after, Bayern doubled their lead as Harry Kane converted a penalty, taking advantage of Moises Caicedo's mistake during a tackle.
When it seemed the Germans were headed for a comfortable victory, Cole Palmer walked through the midfield of Bayern, played a 'one-two' with Gusto, and scored in the top corner with his masterful left foot.
However, Enzo Maier's team failed to maintain control of the situation: after a dubious touch by Gusto, the ball reached Harry Kane, who scored Bayern's third goal, and the Germans continued to dominate the field.
Maier hopes for an easier next round, as they have a home match against Benfica and a possible face-off against Jose Mourinho.
