Currently, planned repairs on the subway lines around the stadium may complicate travel for fans planning to attend matches on the 4th and 25th of this month.

Specifically, the District line station west of Embankment will close ahead of both games, as will the entire Edgware Road branch.

This closure will make it difficult for fans traveling to the match against league leaders Liverpool who were planning to use Fulham Broadway station.

During the game against Liverpool, the Circle line will also be closed from Edgware Road to Tower Hill.

These problems will continue during the match against Sunderland on the 25th, when the line from Edgware to Aldgate will be closed.

Additionally, the closure of the Mildmay line between Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction will disrupt traffic during the match on the 25th.

Thus, fans exiting at West Brompton or Imperial Wharf stations will need to find alternative ways to get to the stadium.

The Piccadilly line from Earl’s Court station will operate during both matches, but the club warns that due to high demand, wait times for entry may reach 60 minutes.

The club advises fans to use Hammersmith or South Kensington stations if possible.

This week’s match promises to fill the stands as Chelsea hosts Liverpool under the management of Arne Slot.

Injury situation for teams

This will be the perfect moment to play against the reds, as they have lost their last two matches in all competitions.

Both teams will face injury losses: Alisson will be unable to play due to injury, and the possibility of Hugo Ekitike returning remains uncertain after his injury in the match against Galatasaray on Tuesday. Chelsea will be without their star striker Cole Palmer, who is still recovering from an injury.
