Is there enough information in the online medical record for deferral.
Online entries in the medical record of a conscripted citizen can help to more accurately determine the degree of fitness for military service. However, it is impossible to do without a military medical commission.
Lawyer Dmytro Murach reported this on the portal 'Yuristi.UA'.
Who determines fitness for military service
The military medical commission is one of the key elements of military accounting and the mobilization process.
A citizen approached lawyers, inquiring whether he could obtain a deferral based on online entries in the medical system, in particular, Helsi.
'The decision about the degree of fitness is made solely by the military medical commission (MMC) based on official medical documents, not on online entries in Helsi.'
Is distance MMC possible
The lawyer acknowledged that official certificates from medical institutions about various diseases (including psychiatric or neurological) are important and may influence the outcome of the MMC.
However, Murach added, it is completely impossible to do without visiting the TCC for the commission: 'Distance passing of the MMC is not provided for by any regulatory act, so physical presence is mandatory.'
During the determination of fitness for military service, online entries in the medical record may serve as an additional source of information; however, the decision is made by the MMC based on official medical documents and the physical presence of the individual at the commission.Read also
