The highway Odesa-Reni was closed due to the drone attack: When will traffic be restored?.
According to ТСН: The traffic connection over the Dniester, which was restricted due to enemy attacks, is gradually being restored. The section is already open for most types of vehicles.
The situation on the roads
The Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Viktor Mykyta reported that today the passage is available for:
- cars,
- minibuses,
- small trucks.
He also announced an improvement in the situation in the near future.
“In the next 48 hours, the conditions for movement on the usual routes will be additionally improved,” he emphasized.
Movement restrictions
We remind you that the restrictions on movement were related to damage to the infrastructure caused by the hit of an enemy drone in the city near Maïaki. The tragedy that occurred on December 18 claimed the life of 43-year-old Inna Vlajeva. The woman was returning to Odesa with her three children when the Russian drone 'Shahed' struck her car on the bridge over the Dniester.
It was previously reported that the highway Odesa - Reni was temporarily closed to traffic in both directions. Now, passage on this section of the road is completely halted.
The restoration of the traffic connection is an important step towards ensuring safety and communication in the region. It is expected that the situation on the roads will improve in the coming days, allowing for the restoration of usual routes and easing the lives of locals.
