Coffee prices in the world hit records - what is the reason and what to expect.

Today, coffee prices have reached absolute highs, which has become the result of a 'perfect storm' in the coffee industry. Prices for Arabica and Robusta have increased by 190% and 263% from the beginning of 2023 to February 2025 respectively. This rapid increase is noticeable in most countries around the world, including Ukraine, where coffee is imported.
The company Lavazza explained that droughts in Brazil and Vietnam caused a decrease in yield, while geopolitical instability complicated logistics and made transportation more expensive
Increasing demand and limited supply of coffee have led to a sharp rise in prices for this beverage, which has created difficulties for countries that do not grow coffee themselves.
