Prices for plastic windows - how much does it cost to replace in 2025.
During the war in Ukraine, plastic windows have become popular products, as they are the first to be damaged as a result of shelling. According to market data, the prices for window panes have increased at least twice due to difficulties in supply and rising material costs.
In Kyiv, the cost of replacing windows can range from 6000 to 8000 hryvnias and higher for one fixed window measuring 700x1300 mm. The waiting time for the installation of such windows can be from one week to a month, especially under the conditions of shelling in the capital.
“If a person wants it done quickly, then the amount should be multiplied by at least two… This is a common practice for companies that specialize in window replacement during the war,”
Prices for window panes have also significantly increased, being 2.5-3 times more expensive than before. Due to this situation, the market for window replacement services is oversaturated, thus waiting for specialists can take quite a long time. This is also related to the shortage of qualified workers since many men remain on mobilization.
